School Governors

This page is for school Governors, specifically Governors with a lead on anti-bullying issues.

We will keep this area updated with information and resources aimed specifically at this role.

Leicestershire County Council and Leicester City Council have recently (Jan 2014) produced a leaflet which summarises the role and responsibilities of the lead anti-bullying Governor and government guidance and legislation which they should be familiar with.

The Governor's handbook is for Governors in maintained schools and academies and provides information about the core role and functions of school governing bodies and their specific legal duties.
