Leicestershire County Council and Leicester City Council have recently (Jan 2014) produced a leaflet which summarises the role and responsibilities of the lead anti-bullying Governor and government guidance and legislation which they should be familiar with.

Training Opportunities
Leicestershire Anti-Bullying Team, in partnership with Leicester City have recently run our first half day training session for lead anti-bullying Governors and we are delighted with the feedback received . We will be offering further dates in the future so keep checking here for information.

The Role of The Anti-Bullying Lead Governor
This training has been developed in response to anti-bullying lead governors requesting specialist input and support to effectively undertake this role.
Course objectives:
- To explore current legislation, government guidance and Ofsted criteria.
- To understand the role of the anti-bullying lead governor
- To examine effective anti-bullying practice
