Bullying has been identified as among the biggest concerns that parents have about their children's safety at school. Bullying is also a big concern of young people themselves. In response to this the Department for Education (DfE) revised their guidance on bullying in 2012 entitled 'Preventing and Tackling Bullying'. This guidance can be accessed below and you can find out more information on the Department for Education website.
We have provided some DCSF guidance below, which although no longer current, does provide some useful information.

This advice is non-statutory, and has been produced to provide schools with information about how to support children whose social, mental or emotional health is affected by bullying, including cyberbullying.
